while I'm sure there's a million and one questions comments and details, If I would no longer need a permission slip to carry, then I certainly no longer need one to own or possess.

Thank you, TomKoz.

I'd be concerned that the states and maybe the feds would say you have a constitutional right to carry but NOT a constitutional right to carry CONCEALED.

I think the argument was made recently that when the 2nd amendment was written it was considered a sign of ill intent to carry a concealed firearm as though you were trying to get away with something.

I don't want to carry openly, I want to carry concealed. I'll have to read further.

That's something Charles Nichols keeps saying, so his recent post is probably where you read it.

I was concerned it might be interpreted the other way around.

FIRST ON FOX: Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, is pushing nationwide constitutional carry for firearms, a move that would eliminate concealed carry permits, fees and criminal penalties for people who want to carry a firearm in public.

Awesome, but it's never going to happen, without a whole bunch of tea. :)

Already have it, called the 2nd Amendment to the USA Constitution. Just stop the governments from infringing it!
