Euler Posted January 25, 2026 at 01:26 AM Posted January 25, 2026 at 01:26 AM In 2019, HI defended its Taser/stungun ban by saying they were dangerous and unusual weapons, used mostly by police for torture. Introduced January 23, 2026, there is a bill that would require concealed carriers to carry a Taser whenever they carried a firearm. Not carrying a Taser would be a crime (if enacted into law). BTW, HI has a pretty strong pepper-spray restriction law, too.
