DCFS Loaded Firearm prohibition

I saw a few threads from 2016 on the topic of dcfs firearm prohibition. Even saw a SAF lawsuit. Both threads were closed.

 

Does anyone know the outcome of this?

May be in a situation for a kinship foster in the near future. Spoke with a DCFS rep in southern Illinois. When asked about CCW she said they didn't care, everyone in southern Illinois has guns. Just have to show you have a safe for weapons and a separate locker for ammo. seems to contradict the company line but it is what was said.
