Question on DL and FOID name difference concerning gun purchase

First post in a long time. I recently renewed my DL to a Real ID so the name is now listed as First Name, Middle Name, Last Name. My FOID/CCL is First Name, Middle Initial, Last Name. Will this be an issue if I purchase a gun?

No. My Real ID has my middle name, but my FOID doesn't even have an initial. As long as the address and DoB are the same, you should be good.
