I was reading today and John was saying the Dems are sending the, "Wrong message." I almost moved on, but a giggle worked in and soon I was laughing hysterically

Here's why, it blew my mind that John Fetterman would be the voice of reason in the Democratic party. I mean serious how fked are things when John pulls on his sweats and thinks, you'll are nucking futs!

By the time the laughing subsided, I had to check my shorts.  I mean seriously people, does this not blow you mind?

This is from his campaign site.  I guess he figures gun control is still an acceptable message for his party to send.

"True public safety ... must include ending the tragedy of mass shootings in this country. The United States is the only country that sees this level of mass shootings, and we have the power to end it. I’m a gun owner, and I’ve been around guns my whole life. I want what an overwhelming majority of Americans, including the majority of gun owners, want – which is common sense gun safety measures. We need universal background checks, red flag laws, and more proactive efforts to get illegal guns off our streets. This is personal for me, and every time we delay real action, we’re only counting down the hours until the next tragedy. Enough."

This coming from a person, Fetterman (a Pensyl-tucky Ork), who chased down and held at gunpoint someone that was jogging in the neighborhood.

Quote

John Fetterman said he heard what sounded like gunfire and saw a man running away. So he reacted by getting his kid inside to safety before he called 911.

What Fetterman did next, however, still haunts him nine years later as he campaigns for the Democratic nomination for the Senate in Pennsylvania: He chased the man down with a shotgun and detained him until police arrived.

It turned out that the man was jogging and wearing running clothes. According to a police report, the man was unarmed and said the sound of gunfire was actually fireworks, although two witnesses thought they heard shots.

The man Fetterman pulled a gun on is Black. Fetterman — the mayor of the Pittsburgh-area borough of Braddock at the time and now the state’s lieutenant governor — is white. Fetterman, 52, said he couldn’t tell the jogger's race initially because of how he was bundled up in the winter cold.

I'll be surprised if Fetterman isn't primaries.  Demos are probably calling him a DINO and will support a far left winger to run against him.  Don't know if his seat if up for grabs where a moderate Republican can win it.  Seems like it could be a chance for Republicans to capitalize on Dem inner party fighting to flip it.

Even if flipping it were possible, what's the likelihood that the voters in that district would vote for a republican, even if a RINO?  I think it's more likely they will stay with Fetterman IF he makes it through the primary.  It may depend on who the party uses to try and replace him.
