Case was dismissed and I have disposition every email to ISP is kicking back. What should I do I was going to Mail the documents any advice please and thank you.
SiliconSorcerer Posted October 11, 2025 at 01:11 PM Posted October 11, 2025 at 01:11 PM If it was suspended and not revoked your "new" FOID care will just show up in the mail. I've seen this happen twice, once as the actual letter said you can just give your card to another valid FOID holder and now he has two. Police seemed surprised by the letter when presented when asked for his FOID. Patience....
Troym Posted October 29, 2025 at 02:45 AM Posted October 29, 2025 at 02:45 AM If you haven't already done so, be sure to fill out an FDR form, have it notarized and send it in. The form says it is for "revoked" cards, but it also applies to suspensions. Our experience over the past couple of months is that it can take several weeks to get any sort of reply to an email. https://isp.illinois.gov/Foid/FoidRevoked

I questioned if he should sign a legal document that was clearly wrong. Poof his a new foid AND ccl showed up in the mail a month or so later which also didn't make a heck of a lot of sense.
