We have had 3 events recently and I am not hearing the gun control screeching like we normally do, or maybe I am missing it?
We had the Church shooting in MN, Kirk assassination, detainees at a Dallas ICE facility.
Yet I don’t hear the need for more gun control.
Is it off the table now?

Disarming US is never off the table, especially now. There are simply bigger issues and more pungent headlines at this particular moment, I think. [sarc]They'll get back to gun grabber rhetoric shortly after this message from the sponsors. [/sarc]

Everything they've done lately turns into political poison.  For now, they're trying to figure out how much they can get away with and still hope to win an election or two.  They'll eventually quit worrying about what people want again, and adopt all the things that bud-lighted them.  That includes gun control.

Hard to scream against violating the constitution and then

scream for violating the constitution without it looking totally absurd….

Don't put it past J.B. to do something, unless he really does feel challenged in the next election, and he might.  He's been pushing that belly around quite a bit lately.

I'm worried he could go after Glocks next.

Not for them. Remember, denying entry of one journalist to the White House was a complete and total shredding of the 1A worthy of much hue and cry, but banning handguns, semi-auto rifles and any firearm holding more than 2 rounds would somehow not be infringing on the 2A...

Don't worry.  The cries for gun control will be back quite soon.  There was that shooting and fire in that LDS church today and the guy in the boat that shot up a waterfront bar.  Supposedly, that guy used an AR rifle in his crime.

Nice so now they want to go after the “long guns”.
I don’t think they are hiding anything, they think complete disarmament is the solution so the Marxists will have less actual resistance as they try to take over.

They've expanded from """assault weapons""" to "Long guns"

"They" insist that disarmament is not the goal.....we'll always be allowed to have single shot .22's and single shot shotguns. "They" don't see infringement to the point of being impotent as being comparable to being disarmed. But "They" want US without guns as "They" force their will and unconstitutional laws ever more restrictive and infringing.

And "They" aren't all Leftists or even Democrats. They are all around US.

You can voluntarily participate in the program and be paid some amount of money for your firearm...  or you can choose not to participate and get nothing when they come and take it by force.

And if you voluntarily participate they offer you pennys on the dollar because if you don’t accept it they will come and take it by force, AND they’ll know where you live and what you have….
