Required CCL Training after Expiration

There is nothing on the ISP website and I have received no communication, as a CCL instructor, about how long a CCL can be expired before the student has to take the 16 hour initial training again.

I see several CCL company websites that say a student has up to 6 months before they have to take the 16 hour class...other sites say up to 1 year before they have to take it, but where did the information come from.  I definitely could not be seeing it on the website or missed an email - but I have looked several times.  Any Help?  Thanks in advance.

You only have to take the 16 hour course once.  There is no time limit on the ability to renew through a 3 hour renewal class. This is the info i was told by ISP.

There is one exception, if the CCL cert was never used, and you can not find it, or the instructor is no longer teaching. Either one of those and it was before the last time the changed the cert form. 

 

As for you though having used the 16hr cert and expired, 3hrs and reapply, not renew. For a time, they were demanding you take all 16hrs if you permit had expired. ~shivers~

In most circumstances, yes. However, if you renew your CCL after its expiration date, your card will be invalid while your application is being processed.
