Seeing as an AWB is part of the Democrat national platform, which Democrats do you expect would not support it?

 

The below article is about the AWB that was passed by the house in 2022, what do you believe has changed within the Democrat party that they would not pass it again?

Unfortunately, the two in ILL-ANNOY will support it.  I can't wait until "Tricky Dicky" Durbin and Tammy Duckworthless are gone.  Yeah, I know,  She isn't leaving but I can hope, can't I?  The thought of her being the "senior senator" when "Turban" leaves is already the "stuff of nightmares".

Unless the Republican Congress steps up soon, it is quite possible that January 2027 will see the Democratic Party in charge, with a Lame Duck President.

I wonder why more Democratic voters don’t see the irony of an anti-2A party platform and trying to pass more nonsensical laws to criminalize 2A protected freedom while at the same time not prosecuting/enforcing existing gun laws.  Why pass yet another gun ban when you refuse to detain or prosecute US citizens or illegal invaders from other countries caught breaking existing guns laws within our boundaries?  
 

I guess the questions are rhetorical as it is really about authoritarian power and rule.  Can’t  have the power without the money (more taxes!) and it’s hard to rule an armed citizenship…

Yeah, things don't look good for the midterm elections at 100+ days into Trumps Administration. But there's yet lots of time for it to move around - swing voter and Independent opinion I mean.

The polling I'm doing of my liberal friends doesn't match CNN or MSNBC.

And we are still losing states to "assault weapon" bans. Even if they can't prevail on the federal level, they are prevailing currently now at the state.
