You Don't Live in a Bubble

 

Dear Legislators,

 

As lame duck session begins on January 4th, remember, you don't live in a bubble. None of us do. You may think you can do anything you want, that there will be no consequences. You might even think that no one will notice. But they do notice. And, in the case of Illinois politics, they don't like what they see.

 

You may think the effects of the laws you pass end at our borders but, to think that, is politically myopic. You see, the nation has been watching Illinois, California, New York and the like. Voters have watched, and they have waited. And, when the chance came on November 5, the country voted against your progressive agenda. Even within our borders, Illinois voters shifted several points to the right with "Republicans ... making inroads into minority voters, particularly minority males, in terms of blacks and Hispanics,".... In less than 3 weeks the nation will enjoy a second term for President Donald Trump and, quite frankly, you did that.

 

There are a myriad of issues that came into play that day. Gun control is but one of them. Yet gun control has been a losing issue for a long, long time. It still is a losing issue, when you look beyond your district.

 

On January 4, when you return to Springfield, will you push Illinois and the nation further from your party, or will you finally take a hint? Will you abandon your losing ways, or will you put another nail in the coffin of progressive politics?

 

And, as you vote on potential gun control bills this Lame Duck Session remember, it's not your messaging that's the problem. It's your message.

Well, they thought they lived in a bubble.  Then they didn't.  As a result of that, we got PICA'd.  

 

As per usual, they took the exact wrong approach to solving the problem.

THEY Don’t CARE !!

 

The Illinois Legislators got elected (by hook or by crook), they now have their salaries, their pensions and have started or keep improving on their “under-the-table” personal revenue streams !!!

 

The whole Illinois Government is “fixed”!

Local, Congressional, Executive, and Judiciary !!

 

The only “legal” thing that will save Illinois is for Enough Voters (enough to overcome their cheating) to vote in Ultra Conservative MAGA legislators that are honest, trustworthy, and truly want to reform politics in Illinois - AND Investigate and PROSECUTE those legislators that have done Illinois citizens wrong !!

Problem is, besides the election cheating, is way too many Uninformed - Stupid voters in Illinois !!

 

Somebody (a Conservative) with very deep pockets needs to start making some claims against the corruption, get to a point where they have Rights of Discovery, and Expose the thievery !!!

I have hope that Ken Griffin still has illinois in his mirror.   He has enough money to stir the pot... 

We will need help they have already decided to put the graduated income tax back on the ballet because of the tax the rich vote.   People clearly didn't understand what that really was.

Sorry, Ken Griffin took his $200 million a year in state income taxes and is enjoying Florida.  I expect that Illinois ends up losing more than $500 million a year in income taxes just from his and his employees move to Florida.  Griffin reportedly lost at least $25 million on the two condos in Chicago that he sold last year after he moved on - he has had enough of Illinois and apparently is not expecting any comeback in the gold coast real estate market.  Given the dozens of empty store fronts along State and Michigan Ave, real estate values won't go up any time soon.

That and there are too many "voters" who are sucking on the public teat who will only vote for those who will keep the milf flowing. They are bought and paid for using our tax dollars. These folks can't afford to vote the liberal socialist commies out since that would cut their pay checks or do away with them all together. The takers are out numbering the makers and that is why the state is tail spinning into a  fiscal crash
