I’ll start with I’m not naming the store, so don’t bother asking. Not to be a jerk, just don’t want them to get any unwanted visits.

Went in a gun shop I haven’t been in for at least 4 years to grab some cleaning brushes and was surprised to see a D60 and 30 rd pmags on the shelf and lots of standard cap pistol mags over 15 rds on the wall behind the counter. I jokingly said to the 20 something kid working the counter it was cruel to have these out where us commoners can touch them but only sell to LE. I was informed the restrictions didn’t apply to their county and the neighboring one or to CCL holders. I said, you mean I can buy them? He said yes. I said I don’t think that’s right and left with my cleaning stuff a bit surprised.

Was this a mistaken kid or are there stores in sanctuary counties that are still selling standard cap mags that are considered illegal by PICA? Starting to wonder if this is like Fight Club and I shouldn’t even post this much LOL.

They were selling mags.  Not restricted magazines?

Wording is significant.

I was once told by my village I couldn’t install a “shed” on my property as against village code.   I said I don’t want a shed - it’s an accessory structure.  No problem . Permit approved !

Maybe my choice of the word restrictions was a poor one. They had 30 and 60 round AR mags for sale as well as many different pistol magazines with more than 15 round capacity, such as HK VP9 17 rounders.

Welcome to the Twilight Zone. There are shops selling many Items that are questionable, including semiautomatic rifles. You can travel to the next one and they do not have any of it in inventory because they are illegal in their opinion. Many are getting the ok from their attorneys. Sales records are kept forever and who knows what could happen in the future.

I installed a "kids playhouse" that I just happen to store stuff in.  LOL
