I never realized how many gun owners in IL vote for anti-gun politicians in the Prairie State. The IL Guns SubReddit is filled with AR & AK Owners who vote for anti-gun Democrats and will want to fight you if you try to challenge them on it. If 2A Advocates are unsuccessful in the Courts, this state will ban firearms with the help of gun owners.
