Guys if you saw my last video, you know It's easier to throw rocks then roll up your sleeves to do the work to make a change. And i have seen plenty of the former.

With Wayne being ousted at NRA I think there is a real chance to make changes and make them into the 800 pound gorilla they can be. While the antis are dancing a jig we can show them becareful what you wish for as now with impediments removed, we can build a bigger and stronger NRA.

On the front lines here, I saw first hand how Illinois was ignored by HQ. And I would like to advocate for more resources to bring the fight to their door. Stop playing defense and start throwing punches.

So I am running as a reform candidate for the NRA Board along with my friend John Richardson from the blog no lawyers, only guns and money. We have both been nominated. Whether the nominating committee puts us on the ballot is a different issue. So hedge our bets, we are out looking to get petitions filled out to get our names placed on the ballot should the nominating committee turn us down. There are still a friends of Wayne klinging on to old ways.

you guys and gals know me and I'll vouch for John if you don;t know about him, go check out his blog:  onlygunsandmoney.com

Attached are petitions.  for both of us. in order to get on the ballot we will need 500 plus signatures to make sure we have enough.

in order to sign, you must:

be an annual member for over 5 years or a life member.

use the address your magazine comes to -- this is your what NRA has in their books

include your membership number

print in first box -- sign in second name box.

Petitions are due at NRA HQ 10/8/24. I will be collecting them before that to mail my package in.

If you can sign please do for both of us. Get your friends to sign as well. If there is a Friend of NRA dinner in your area, go there or your gun club to hook up with eligible NRA members. They only we we can make change is to be inside the Board room. Just think if we had spent a fraction of the $200 million spent on Brewer's law firm in litigation.

happy to answer any questions.

And thank you for your support.

Todd

Do you need the actual document mailed back to you or scanned an emailed back?

Also, what email address should it go to?

I would suggest that while each signature is important, hold on to it for a few days and see if you can get some other NRA members to sign. You know the local gun club, range, local FNRA dinner.  it's not hard. at our Club I got two pages filled out this past Saturday walking around.

But I do appreciate all the help

I was an annual member for years and then became a Life Member because it made financial sense. And I got the cool leather jacket.

I did not enjoy the LaPierre years. I did know the ultimate value of the NRA from an historical and future perspective. Same deal with ISRA. If you aren’t a member you do not get to say… anything.

Suck it up and reenlist.

Cheers,

Tim

Todd,

I will be but one signatory since I'm not part of any club or group, but intend to send you a petition.  Where do I see my NRA member number?  I am a life member.  On my American Hunter address label, I see several numbers, but am not sure which is the membership #.

Thanks.  That was my guess.  I probably have a membership card around here somewhere, but haven't seen it in 30 years...

Petitions printed and will be going into the mailbox.

Try opening and printing from your browser.

YMMV.

That's what I tried the first time so I downloaded it to see if that made a difference. On that one, the fields actually show up as redacted/blacked out.

Todd, I will fill out both petitions and sign them, not sure if I will be able to get any other signatures than my own. Will mail them out to you soon!

It only one signature, but it is one more!  An envelope is headed your way with a signed petition for you (and one for John!).

I hope it helps you reach the needed threshold of 500, or pushes you on toward the deserved level of 5,000...
