Pritzker as V. P. Pick

Considering the Harris campaign has talked with Gov. "Jabba", I have some questions that (hopefully) somebody here can answer.

1 - If "Prickster" is picked, will he have to resign as governor?

2 - If he DOES have to resign and the dems LOSE the WH, can "Jabba" come back as governor? :Loony:

3 - If he can't return IF they lose and they DO lose, does that possibly mean that "Jabba's" political career is over??

Only way for him to get out is through an election.
If the illegals keep coming, AND the illegals still get to vote in State elections, we might be stuck with him until there are mass deportations. Even then for some of the “minority vote”, the question is is it bad enough for them to stop voting him into office?

There is little to no reason to pick him for the VP other than his money.  I expect Harris to take a VP from a close battle ground state to try and swing that state to Blue.  She will win Illinois by a significant margin with no effort at all so why waste the VP pick on Illinois.

By a significant margin I would question.  Even my wacko left Democrat friends won't vote for her, I don't know who's on the down vote.

He could run again for any office. Although, unusual former Presidents have run for other offices.

Few former presidents have run again after leaving office | Pew Research Center

If former holders of the highest office in the land can continue their political career, a former governor can also.

The Jewish angle is worth considering, but I suspect it's the fact Illinois' electoral votes are solidly blue already that will frustrate his ambitions.

I've actually never put a lot of stock in that business of the candidate's home state being important. Some people do, but in this situation I don't think it will be a big factor.

I will confess that if the Democrats' convention turns into 1968 on steroids, J.B. running for VP could be pretty entertaining. The commercials about Kamala's priorities (not to mention judgement) would write themselves.

All they have to do is re-air the democratic debate

Open border, eliminate ICE, free healthcare for illegals.  it's all there.

Biden beat Trump by over a million votes in Illinois. Even giving a thought that Harris will lose some real support over Biden,  I would guess that Harris still wins Illinois by more than 500,000 votes.  So Pritzker brings nothing to the table for her.

He brings his big fat *** Wallet!

At the end of the day, Pritzker is Jewish. Picking him won't play well with anti-Israeli left. The only way that could play well for him is if they want to show they still like Jewish people after taking a strong stance against Israel. Identity politics are such garbage.

That is because of the way the "dims" have gerrymandered political borders to do whatever they can to avoid having ANY republican/conservative run for office and be even remotely successful. 🤮

I'm pretty sure my wacko left Democrat sister is all-in for whomever the Dems nominate, whether it's Harris or someone else.  Have your friends said who they would vote for if she's the nominee?  My bet is most of them will just hold their noses and pull the D lever anyway.

The last 2 presidential elections have been reported as having a lot of people voting against a candidate, i.e. anybody but Clinton, or Trump, etc.

I think that there will be many people voting for Harris, who have anybody but Trump in their minds. How it will affect the results this time, I do not care to predict.

I know I have done the "not voting for but voting against" a couple of times on the republican side of the fence (the hildabreast being one of them)

I voted against Pritzger, Preckwinkle, Blagojovich and Quinn to name a few. This year I will be voting for a candidate for President. There’s been a lot of buzz in the last couple days with people smiling and asking “what do you think about Harris?”. We will see if it holds, grows or wilts.

I’m guessing she gets a bump in the next couple days following the prisoner exchange today. She will get bumps every time someone says she was a DEI hire or slept her way to the job.

I got my haircut today. My barber of 35 years was at the White House Picnic a couple weeks ago, after the Stephanopolis interview. I asked what he thought of Biden when he met him and shook hands… he said “he’s old… I cut hair in retirement homes. I can tell.”

He’s all in for Harris after meeting her.

Cheers,

Tim
