Florida Becomes 26th State to Pass Constitutional Carry!

Florida joined 25 other states Monday after Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis signed permitless concealed carry legislation, often referred to as “Constitutional Carry,” into law.

The newly-enacted bill, HB 543, allows Floridians to carry a concealed weapon without a permit, bolstering Second Amendment rights throughout the state. However, the bill leaves in place previous background check requirements.

“Constitutional Carry is in the books,” DeSantis said in a statement accompanying the press release.

There you go!! I predict that, with NYSRPA v Bruen, the pace is really going to pick up with the remaining states.

For a number of years I helped MarktheSignGuy with printing our big yellow signs for IGOLD.  I remember how happy I was when he came to me to change last years sign from 48 to 49 states can't be wrong once Wisconsin came around and that didn't really have any affect on me as I'm not a resident there.  Still it felt like a win and it was.  Looking forward to seeing 26 change again!

Seems crazy doesn't it.  But we were also crazy to be the very last state to recognize the right to carry.

 

This ban will not stand,  the people and Constituion will prevail. Not only will the ban fall,  but so will so many of the other infringements too.

Fixed it. It isnt constitutional if there are ANY restrictions.
