Watch me now, watch me now, House Oversight hearing on ATF abuses

I'm starting to wonder if this is their "plan".

The individuals caught up in the pistol brace fiasco are surely NOT voting Democrats, they have no votes to lose there.

Then they'll have the adoration of major portions of their LWW spectrum, as they "stick it to those nasty gunnies"...

You say the prison system can't handle an influx of 2 million new prisoners. They'll be convicted and put directly on parole. (they WILL have few other crimes on their "sheet")

meanwhile "parole" will be changing, into more of a communist china social score that will proscribe various goods and services from the less well rated.

kind of a way to put us in a jail without having to build more walls.   Through our credit cards and banking. Cash flow.

To those that would resist the credit card changes, well, we had a taste of that already.

I have always said there are a bunch of legislators, police and prosecutors that manufacture criminals for thier own personal gains and agendas.

As Harvey A. Silverglate says the average American likely comits three felonies a day and who knows how many misdemeanors in that same 24 hour period...  Even if he is off by a factor of 100 everyone is basically a full time felon.

So basicaly the legal system can pick and choose who they want to persecute and who they do not prosecute on a whim, as everyone is likely guilty of something due to the plethora of laws on the books, many that literally have never been charged.

I have always been a proponent of ALL laws sunsetting every say 10 or 20 years, if the law was worth it's weight it could/would be re-enacted by the legislators at the time of sunset, and best of all it would give them something to do beyond trying to come up with something else that they want to make illegal.

I always hear about what the ATF did at Waco, TX. I didn't know anything about it so I watched the documentary this weekend. The fact that the ATF has never been held accountable for what they did tells me everything I need to know. I may not agree with what was going on inside that compound but it did not merit an all out assault without a warrant.

That's basically the whole point of the income tax code. If you do anything outside of a w-2 employee then its basically impossible to file 100% right. This can then be used to selectively persecute whomever they wish with absolutely ZERO repercussions.

That was serving a warrant.

I watched the documentary, to see how the events might be skewed, and I'm pretty sure that was mentioned.

What was not mentioned was the ATF was trying desperately for redemption for botched episodes that had earned it the name "F troop",
such as the entrapment of Randy Weaver that resulted in three deaths, Weaver's wife, his son, and a US Marshall, the deaths were 6 months prior to the raid on Mt Carmel.
