Illegible FOID

ISP sent me a new FOID to go along with my CCL. Three days later wife got hers and their printer was apparently running out of toner because half her name and FOID number didn’t print. Now she is calling and leaving messages to get a proper card.sounds like another way for them to screw people on top of the lack of an expiration date. Got to love Illinois 🤮

The lamination was very messed up on mine and it looks like a forgery.  I tried getting in touch with the isp about it with no success.

 

In the end I still use it. All the ranges/ffls and I just laugh at how bad illinois is at basic tasks.

In the meantime you can go on the ISP website and save and  print a copy.

Thanks Lou. FOID’s stay home for safekeeping. Just take the CCL with. A have had to get a mgr once or twice to get them to use just the CCL early on but most people know the drill now.

The new one is a combined FOID/CCL.    You just get the one card with the CCL endorsement.
