On February 13, Chicago asked for an order of protection (probably regarding confidential information during discovery).

On February 14, the judge issued the order.

On April 1, defendants filed a motion to stay this case pending a CA7 decision on Barnett v Raoul.

On April 22, the judge denied in part the motion to stay. Expert discovery is to proceed. The court will revisit whether a stay is appropriate after expert discovery is complete.

On October 22, defendants Cook County and City of Chicago filed a motion to extend the October 29 deadline to disclose expert reports.
