As the recent election results in Virginia and New Jersey showed, Democrats have a growing problem with rural and working-class voters. They also have a problem with Latino voters and independents and non-college-educated women. That’s a lot of problems that they need to solve before 2022, or risk a historic midterm rebuke that could cost them both chambers of Congress as well as multiple state Houses and county and municipal contests from coast to coast.

Democrats need to learn how to talk about firearm rights and crime issues without demonizing millions of voters who own guns. What Democrats don’t realize is that the very voters they are losing by the tens of thousands each cycle are also the people who account for the largest surge of new firearm sales.

The problem is that lunatics are usually locked in to their delusions and there is very little that can dissuade them from their fantasy.

Nobody from their base is changing positions, they are all as anti-gun as ever. What they are losing is the middle.

 

The problem is their base is too big, and they along with their base are so far anti-gun that even the slightest change in their position would cost them their base.

 

IMO let them keep at it. As long as the middle keeps shifting towards more gun rights we wont have to worry about these idiots.

Then again, the idea of democrats changing to saying "you know, we are going to support 2A from now on." will sound exactly like what it is....

 

Another lie told by the anti-rights groups, only telecast by the anti-gun rights party. And America will know they're being lied to.
