Molly B. Posted June 28, 2021 at 12:13 PM Share Posted June 28, 2021 at 12:13 PM It seems like only yesterday and also seems like a lifetime ago that we received the McDonald vs Chicago ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court. Today we thank the courageous people who took on the city of Chicago:the late Otis McDonald, IllinoisCarry members David and Colleen Lawson, and Adam Orlov. Thank you Second Amendment Foundation: Alan Gottleib and attorneys Adam Gura and David Sigale!

Lou Posted June 28, 2021 at 08:22 PM Share Posted June 28, 2021 at 08:22 PM What a great group. I was able to print out a copy of the SCOTUS decision and I had all four plaintiffs sign the front page at one of the SAFRs downtown. it’s a keepsake for sure. Howard Roark Posted July 9, 2021 at 04:56 AM Share Posted July 9, 2021 at 04:56 AM That was outstanding great work by everyone involved. I worked a couple of events with Otis and his daughter. Otis was such a nice and kind person and raised a great family. He signed a copy of the book about his life and this struggle which I still have. David and Colleen are such good people too, many of us miss them. I think about them and the terrible events they endured after they moved. I hope they are well.
