If it saves one life it's worth it, we'll just ignore the tens of millions of lives destroyed saving that one person.
borgranta Posted May 9, 2020 at 04:42 AM Share Posted May 9, 2020 at 04:42 AM Why is it that during a government shutdown the media acts like the the government workers are being starved to death but when the working poor in the private sector as well as sole proprietors that are literally starving to death due to joblessness are being ignored. Perhaps there should be a government shutdown until the economy reopens to pressure the dictators to reopen the economy.

Between the three they have a total of 14 cases. LEO son said this am that a kid was just diagnosed so 15 total. I guess people there are wondering why they're still shut down. My son obviously has to work. His wife is in QA at a Hershey plant in Robinson and she's deemed essential. They make every Milk Dud and Payday bar in the US there. She's ticked she's still working as they work in close proximity to each other.

bmyers Posted May 10, 2020 at 01:19 PM Share Posted May 10, 2020 at 01:19 PM I read that Madison County is working on a plan to open up the county. https://www.thetelegraph.com/news/article/Madison-County-officials-look-poised-to-defy-15257931.php The question is will this plan be any better than the other? Ranger Posted May 17, 2020 at 02:36 AM Share Posted May 17, 2020 at 02:36 AM Clark and Madison are obviously ran by idiots who haven't bothered to see if they were incurring a whole lot of liability (both official and personal) in doing so. On top of that, they are exposing any of their redidents who follow thst logic to potential loss of licenses and increased liability too. Also, risk of lost funding. Ranger Posted May 17, 2020 at 02:38 AM Share Posted May 17, 2020 at 02:38 AM The state should be opening up; but this is a stupid way of doing it (which it doesn't even really do).

Don't know why the bailout bill gave a big bail out to Boeing. They screwed the pooch with the 737-MAX and their screw up and business losses have nothing to do with Covid. They should have given that money to the workers who did lose their jobs or lost hours.

If just 50% of counties did this the deprivation of rights under color of authority would end. If the state suspends your business License without a hearing that would be another deprivation of rights. And if you keep operating without the license? Especially in a county where the states attorney and sheriff will not enforce it. Even if the state police arrest it is the local state’s attorney that makes the decision to prosecute or not. ^ this ***
