mikeyk101 Posted April 7, 2020 at 02:40 AM Posted April 7, 2020 at 02:40 AM For kicks, a couple days ago, I did the same thing. First email next day was for 10% off. The next day was 20% off. I was holding out for the third day which was today to see if I too got the 35% offer. Mine was for 25% off and I only have 8 hours to take advantage. I think I will wait one more day and see what happens. If I get a 35% offer, I might take advantage of it. If not, no big deal because I could do without it anyway...
ultra magnus Posted April 7, 2020 at 04:17 AM Posted April 7, 2020 at 04:17 AM Not a good choice. They look enormous, even for smaller guns. Anyone paying attention will notice you taking or placing your phone in and out of your pocket, while still having a huge honking "phone" case on your belt. Why not pocket carry? It conceals better, and can come into action as fast or faster than gimmick holsters.
Bitter Clinger Posted April 7, 2020 at 11:28 AM Posted April 7, 2020 at 11:28 AM Have you tried an OWB holster? I've tried an IWB and not only is it uncomfortable, I'd really need to buy all new pants a couple inches bigger to properly fit it. I've been using an OWB holster for years with no issues and it's very comfortable. You sometimes don't even know the gun is there.

OK sure, there may be a few curious, but it's usually other CCLers noticing a bulge. Most folks are too absorbed to even think about it. Just my 2c.

Retiredguns Posted April 7, 2020 at 08:16 PM Posted April 7, 2020 at 08:16 PM Maybe in 1996 when people had big 'ol PDAs, but now it would be seriously conspicuous. I looked at them about 6 years a go, but decided against. I did get some weird pouch when I bought a Taurus TCP and wore it once to a restaurant. It just felt weird. I too carry OWB with an un-tucked shirt when possible. Nice and comfy.
SycamoreRuger Posted April 15, 2020 at 07:48 PM Posted April 15, 2020 at 07:48 PM Would a Sneaky Pete qualify as a so-called "container" so a legal gun owner could carry an unloaded gun in an otherwise restricted area (sometimes referred to "FOID carry")?
THE KING Posted April 15, 2020 at 08:06 PM Posted April 15, 2020 at 08:06 PM Would a Sneaky Pete qualify as a so-called "container" so a legal gun owner could carry transport an unloaded gun in an otherwise restricted area (sometimes referred to "FOID carry")?In my opinion and some may have a different view. By looking at the sneaky pete, it appears it would meet the definition of a container, therefore a person with a FOID should be able to "transport" an unloaded firearm without violation of720 ILCS 5/24-1 (a)(4) (i, ii, iii). I changed your post because FOID carry is completely different than transport. A person can "carry" a firearm in accordance with 720 ILCS 5/24-1 (a)(4) and is not required to have an FCCL. KING
oohrah Posted April 16, 2020 at 02:15 PM Posted April 16, 2020 at 02:15 PM I thought a transport carrier had to be locked? SPs don't lock.
THE KING Posted April 16, 2020 at 02:24 PM Posted April 16, 2020 at 02:24 PM I thought a transport carrier had to be locked? SPs don't lock. No, there's no requirement for any case or container to be locked.
Bubbacs Posted April 16, 2020 at 02:43 PM Author Posted April 16, 2020 at 02:43 PM HummThen why is it that we have to lock our cars if we leave a handgun inside.Used to be a case locked, but I believe it was changed when they said the glove box would suffice IF the car was locked. IANAL

Two different statutes for two different scenarios, that's why.
