howie Posted June 24, 2017 at 12:13 PM Share Posted June 24, 2017 at 12:13 PM Within the last two weeks I've had two individuals who went thru our class call and tell me that ISP refused to accept their certificates. The first one got a letter from ISP saying their certificate was "invalid". NO other explanation. I checked out her certificate and found no issues with it. After a week or so of trying to get ahold of someone at ISP she finally E-mailed them, and got a response back saying her certificate was valid. The second student received a letter from ISP saying her certificate was unreadable. I pulled up the electronic copy of hers and again saw absolutely nothing wrong with it. She's going to be calling ISP Monday. I certainly hope that these two are just some kind of anomaly, after four years of doing classes these two are the first that ISP has had an issue with. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing.
3ddiver Posted June 24, 2017 at 01:36 PM Share Posted June 24, 2017 at 01:36 PM We have not had any problems yet. I hope it was just a fluke and not the beginning of a trend though.
Molly B. Posted June 24, 2017 at 10:09 PM Share Posted June 24, 2017 at 10:09 PM Reasons I have seen for rejecting certificates - certificate is on outdated form - stamped instructor signature instead of written - filled out wrong - couldn't read one of the signatures
