It says it was active on 2/6 but I still havent received my CCL. Does it mean it might be lost in the mail? How long do you guys receive your license after its approved?

It goes active, but card must still be printed and sent to USPS. They dont send these out individually, but batch them up and send out for efficiency and cost I expect. The closer you live to the location, the sooner you probably get it, but as said above, give it a couple of weeks.

@hj630

I answered this exact question today at about 11:30 am in the "Wait Time for CCL" thread.......

Looks like this....

Active isn't printed or mailed IIRC.

It has been posted before that some see 3 week mail times or more!

You've got great news, you're active, it's only a short time now and your Wally Walk will be here!

Happens a lot

The "behind" the web page trick inspect element thingie is a set and timed dealie.

One minute it's this, then it moves past to another.

I've never embraced the "element" trick as it wasn't part of the scheme in days gone by.

Back then we saw Approved and Active as separate items.

Wait...........you went Active?

Run don't walk and get into the wait time thread, we must have documented timelines......

And....Congrats!

Yep, Active. Logged out and back in three times to make sure I was not seeing anything!

I also note that my FOID number is changed on the website. It is the same as my CCL. I know I will be getting a new FOID after the CCL shows up.

Hello all, new guy here. I have been following this site since I first did my application on 2/19/17. A lot of good imput and helpful folks here. I have been under review since early march and haven't seen any update so I went ahead and tried the "email trick" and asked about my application status and what part of the "under review" I'm at. The response this morning was not helpful lol, just replied back with "your application is under review. We have 90 days to complete the process" as though I couldn't read that for myself. I did do the prints because my instructor said it would expedite the process and he has been seeing folks get theirs within a 60 day window give or take with no prior record...which I do not. I took the advice of many of you who suggested the inspect element and am still in "QC Verified" since early march with no new update. Wondering if maybe purchasing a few firearms since my application could be hindering my approval? Any thoughts or guesses on when I should go to approved and active? By the way I'm shocked to see some folks getting theirs completed with prints within 40-60 days! I sure can't wait to Wolly Walk MYSELF! love this forum guys glad to be a part of it now.
