I usually listen to WGN constantly, but I had to turn it off this morning. One of the women was going on about rifles that fire 30 rounds with one trigger pull and high capacity clips. I've gone back to WBBM or the BBC. I can't listen to WLS anymore, as I can't stand the constant screaming. :-/

Why the heck would you listen to those liberal biased crappy shows in the first place?

 

We've got Mancow, and 560am to listen to in the am! Mornings from 5am to 9am, then Mike Gallagher from 9-11.

 

Then I change to 890 for rush, and back to 560 for Hannity and Joe Walsh.

 

Just sayin.

I'll listen to walsh on the way home....

 

But..he drives me nuts.

It takes him 5 minutes to make a point that somebody else will make in 5 seconds.

And to touch on the social media aspect, I had a Facebook friend make a post this morning, sharing a picture from an anti or anti page, or whatever.

 

I totally corrected them, made a post on the original picture calling out their stupidity, but I just want to post this picture, and you can see how absolutely clueless the gun haters are.

 

I couldn't get the entire thing in one screen shot, but these two pics, one is the top of the post, and one is the bottom of the post, are what I posted on my page (here's the link in case anyone cares to check it out)

I didn't realize all of these nutjobs committing mass shootings used SBR's. Idiotic antis!

Living in Florida, near Orlando, and I can say, it's easier listening to the radio here. More than once I heard radio personalities saying guns are not to blame. I even heard more than once to get licensed, trained and carry. They're offering open air time for people to vent, and majority are saying if only a few people were armed. Many are wondering how someone who was investigated by FBI was given govt. firearms clearance and ability to purchase weapons.

 

Only national pundits are hammering on NRA, assault weapons, gun owners, etc. From what I've heard, most locals are having none of it.

If you need to blame anyone, blame him. Lutherans (being Christian) would not teach hatred. But your own FIL (being human) apparently has chosen to hate despite what his religion teaches.

 

Again, judge Christianity by what it teaches, not by the mistakes made by humans who attempt to practice it.

Christianity teaches to love the sinner but hate the sin.

That's why Christians are 'intolerant' of government and societal endorsement, enablement, and encouragement of a sinful lifestyle.

Christians do not hate people who commit abortions or have them done but they hate the murder.

They do not hate people living in sexual sin. They hate the sin and the demands by society that they should accept it, endorse it, and pay for it.

 

Stop calling Christians intolerant and 'just as bad as the next religion' because they don't accept the secular philosophies being forced on them. You don't like it when you perceive Christians doing it to you even though I'd challenge anyone to show it's being done. If it's being attempted, it's not being done very effectively.

 

At least Christians aren't pursuing a program of invasion, coercion, and murder to force you to accept their lifestyle and religions choices. From my point of view it looks like the secularist left is much more in tune with that method of societal change than the Christians are.

 

It's funny how those who are anti-religion and anti-Christian are much more tolerant of the secular left despite the damage they've done and continue to do at a continually accelerating pace.

The fact that Christianity, or any religion for that matter, is discussed following the biggest mass shooting in US history that was perpetrated by a MUSLIM is proof positive that there is a massive desire to turn a blind eye to the cold, hard fact that there is a relatively enormous propensity for MUSLIMS to commit UNPROVOKED acts of violence, MORESO THAN ANY OTHER GROUP IN RECENT HISTORY. The word "terrorism" exists as we know it because of muslims killing people they hate.

I listen at work. I have to be mindful of coworkers as we have an open floor plan and headphones aren't allowed. Rush's screaming gets on my nerves, never mind the coworkers.

 

ETA: can't stand Mancow. And at least the BBC doesn't hesitate to call it Islamic terrorism.

Hitler was a good friend and supporter of the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hassan Al-Banna. During WW2, Germany recruited Muslims from Bosnia and surrounding areas, and they formed the bulk of 2 Waffen SS divisions. Islam and Nazi's were natural allies.

Media is grilling the gun shop owner. He made a simple statement. Pretty much saying he followed the law and his background check passed. He tried explaining the process on buying firearms.

You said you are starting to believe the anti's are right about alot of gun owners so what does that say about you? If I still want to believe in Santa Claus, it is my right to do so whether you like it or not but you don't like it that everyone doesn't agree with your "poor muslims" stance so you go on the offensive. I'm still waiting for a rational explanation as to how we should be blaming an entire religion rather than the groups who radicalize it. All religions have their radicals yet they (their particular religion) get a free pass.

I blame him 100% - that was my point. I don't blame any religion for the few who twist it to suit their own agenda or beliefs.

You just can't make murder more illegal, nor create any more infringements on the law abiding that will alter the course of madmen. I have not noticed any drop in the stats even though murder remains illegal here in Chicago. And year to date the streets HAVE been filled with the dead in numbers FIVE TIMES that of the Orlando tragedy.

In the wake of all the cries for more "common sense" gun laws and checks, if this latest waste of oxygen in Florida was able to undergo a near year long colonoscopy by the FBI and come out clean? What the heck MORE can anyone expect the 'system' to do?

 

You just can't make murder more illegal, nor create any more infringements on the law abiding that will alter the course of madmen. That's the illogical and irrational nature of gun grabbers. More laws on top of more laws that aren't being properly enforced in the first place.

I am seeing other reliably liberal columnists who are observing that if half... A quarter... Even an eighth of the bar patrons were armed, this might have been a close call instead of a tragic massacre.

Perhaps it is just me but out of 500 +- people in the Club not 1 person had the BAL_S to rush the Nut Job .

If your faced with death and chances are your going to Die MAN THE F___ up . Die like a man on your feet , not on your knees a coward . I truly believe he could have been taken down by just a few , but oh no run like cowards .

As you can tell I have very little sympathy for their in actions

More so in a bathroom with one or two entrances. You have advantage of being able to surprise the attacker upon entrance.

Earlier this year I said the mass Muslim migration to our country through "didn't do's" agenda . He has failed miserably at gun control and what better way to achieve it after he has long left office . Let and welcome the terrorists in so there can be more and more of the Cowardly acts until the 2nd is non existent .

A lot of you scoffed at me , well lets see How does Crow Taste ??????
