They just got off the "I hate guns!!!!!" hobby horse, and it was "I have bad ratings from the NRA!!!!!" "No, I have worse ratings,WHAAAA!!!!" "The NRA wouldn't date argue against me, I hate gun rights!!!"

 

The last one that got a comment in, I think his name is Webb, actually sounded like he actually got some things right. No guns for crazies, we have to find a way to get crazies on the no-guns list, BUT you know, people need a way to protect themselves, too.

 

Four anti's, so no support for them in any way what-so-ever....

 

One maybe-not-an-anti, so I guess I would look him over and see if I could support him.

 

But Gawds, I can't stand to listen to Sanders.......talk about a screeching Lenin wanna-be. And O'Malley is too smarmy and insulting.

I watched about 15 min. then about lost my dinner. Nat Geo here I come.

I have known Jim Webb for years. He believes in the Second Amendment, and has had a concealed carry permit for years. He also has some real strong ideas about where our country is headed.

Other than Sanders admitting he's a socialist where the others do their best to conceal that fact, there's no difference between the five. Other than one of them not being a white male that is...

Pandering to whatever get's the most applause.

These are the most despicable, vote pandering leeches I've ever witnessed. Finally, after listening to them fight each other over who wants to give more to illegals (free health care, resident tuition rates ...), I had to shut it off. If any of these lunatics becomes president, after what Obama has already done to this country, we're finished. We'll be asking Greece to buy us lunch.

Yeah, and OMG did she not miss her opportunity to say her presidency would be different from Obama's because there'd be a woman in the White House. HTH do they get away with this??? You say you want to vote for a white male, well, you're a racist and a mysogynist (that thar's fancier than a sexist ya'll know), but it's ok to vote for Obama because he's black, or Hillary because it allegedly has female parts somewhere under the giant clown ... err, "pants" suit. What the heck has happened to the Democratic Party??? The mainstream R's have become the mainstream D's of the 70's and 80's, and the D's have become neo Bolsheviks.

The Dems have moved much further left than the Repubs have moved right. That's for sure. Too bad the mass-market media is so far left they consider the Dems to be mainstream.

Jim Webb is different. Not saying he'd get my vote, but he ain't a puddin' head like the rest.

How did the DNC let Jim Web into the D Party??

Seems he is way right (figuratively and literally) on some issues as compared to all others up on stage and the usuall dem doo-doo.

That's what I wondered. If there was 4 of him and 1 Hillary up there tonight, I'd feel much better about the state of our nation. Sadly, I doubt he has any chance.

I found it interesting when "her thighness" was asked about her own private server not only did she wiggle but the other dumbocrats instantly circled the wagons protecting her and allowing her to walk away from a subject that could easily sink her ship if the TRUTH ever came out.

Good point. It did seem like watching an Oprah special. Boy, they sure do circle the wagons. Probably know they have no chance and want to beg the VP or a cabinet spot. Nice to know not a single one of them has an issues with a criminal in the White House. The Snowden bit really cracked me up, especially Hillary talking about he has to face the music ... heck, Snowden was probably one of her techies ...

Today's meme's on facebook are beyond stupid. What the Dems blame "fascist" Republicans for is the complete opposite of reality. So, Hillary and Bill are still surfing the wave of "people ain't gonna figure it out". As if today's problems were not set in motion years ago. The left does not even define fascism correctly, which in economic terms refers to government control and over-regulation of the private sector. Gosh, who wears that crown? Could it be our king who appointed czars to crap on every inch of the economy?

 

Bill Clinton's legacy of good times is a lie, convincing people his Camelot vision of repealing the business cycle and spend-spend-spend would have no consequences. As a result, consumers took on so much debt and filled the tech bubble with so much air, it was unsustainable. The Fed was forced to keep interest rates high in an attempt to slow down Slick Willie's irrational exuberance - which dragged 39 states into recession as Clinton left office. How many people know how wonder boy Bill Clinton's legacy turned out?

 

Instead, the media promulgated "blame Bush". Right. Without the 9/11 shock, the 2001 economy could have recovered. But, couple the low interest rates needed to jump start the economy post-9/11 with Clinton era exuberance, plus Dodd-Frank high risk home loans, and our reward was the housing bubble that cratered 8 million jobs added from 2002 to 2007. Republicans' attempts to act responsibly were met with the usual false accusations of racism - and they've done a poor job setting the record straight.

 

What's next in the flow of excremental Dem policies? Continued erosion of buying power, printing more money, the student loan bubble, more and more uninformed voters, and dropping $20+ trillion in debt onto future generations. The party name should be changed to the Devalu-crat party. It's what they do.

My take on them circling the wagons was less them trying to help Hillary, and more them being sick of every media story about the race being about her dishonesty. Their support was self serving. They need new issues to surface so they can pontificate about how they are far more progressive than their rivals in the press.

I didn't even know they were having a debate last night until it was over. They had to compete with post season baseball and whatever other sitcoms their base follows religiously. I don't know how anybody could stand watching it. The field is so slim it's almost a joke who they put on stage. Hillary and the Socialist are the best they have.

 

I turned on my Kindle Fire last night which has an unwanted, free subscription to the Washington Post. Sometimes I read it just to see how the other side thinks. They had about 8 articles covering every detail of this worthless debate. I cannot stand the writers for the WP because they're so condescending in the way they cover the republicans and then everything is "matter of fact" and/or defense of dem stupidity in article after article. It comes across as if you disagree with their articles, you're just a DA and everything they say is matter of fact.

 

Oh, btw their cover page is 1001 mass shootings since 2013. There were a couple anti-gun articles mixed in with the coverage of the dem debate. Of course they had to show an illustration of 1200 little people silhouettes in a box to show how many gun deaths there were in a given time frame.
