solareclipse2 Posted October 8, 2015 at 06:25 PM Posted October 8, 2015 at 06:25 PM Is there anyone who passes this building who can tell me if it's posted or not? I have to go there for a meeting. Just want to know before I carry over there. It would be embarrassing to get to the building and tell the person I'm meeting that I can't go in.
thedriver Posted October 8, 2015 at 09:53 PM Posted October 8, 2015 at 09:53 PM They might because of a wine bar being there
Stevepk Posted October 8, 2015 at 10:13 PM Posted October 8, 2015 at 10:13 PM 33 W Monroe? Must be close to a 100 of those in this state.
bmyers Posted October 8, 2015 at 10:15 PM Posted October 8, 2015 at 10:15 PM I asked the old man that lives there if his house was posted and he said no, but was wondering why you were stopping by.

RoadyRunner Posted October 8, 2015 at 10:39 PM Posted October 8, 2015 at 10:39 PM I can probably walk past in the morning, if it will help. However, if it's a multi Tennant building don't count on a front door posting. Some properties post on the suite, since that's the first point of entry to the property they control. (My employer is like that - they couldn't convince the building to post - so they posted their suite instead) So, nothing on the front door does not necessarily indicate no prohibition. Best to either call ahead and ask - or just give in to the anti-gunners for this round and leave it in your car (or at home) as needed.
RoadyRunner Posted October 9, 2015 at 12:35 PM Posted October 9, 2015 at 12:35 PM 33 West Monroe, Chicago = NOT posted. Don't know about suites inside though.

Thanks, appreciate you taking the look for me. The place I'm going has offices in other multi-tenant buildings and the buildings nor their offices are posted but I've never been to this one so I wasn't sure. Given what I know about the other offices I'm certain this one isn't posted. The building itself was my concern.
