I was approved sometime last night. They did it while I slumbered.

 

pouting seems to have done the trick.

 

I think you guys need to pout a little harder as I have, and I think you will get approved faster that way.

I was approved Fri and no joy at the mailbox yesterday. My wife says it will come today.......and my wife is always right.

I talked to ISP 15 minutes ago about the delay in getting my license with the approval date 2/28. According to them there was a printing error last night @ 7:30pm ( couldn't tell me what as it appears the printing is unmanned ). It was re-printed and will be sent out today at 3:30pm.

 

FYI... mail is picked up and goes out once a day at 3:30pm.

Were they polite when you asked them or did they act annoyed from hearing it a lot lately? I may call tomorrow if it doesn't arrive.

Wonder of that's true or not... seems odd that they would approve Friday but not get around to printing until the following Wednesday. Guess if I don't get mine today I have to assume mine was also in that batch.

If that's correct their printing must be somewhat slow, and they may have stopped or slowed approvals until printing catches up. They're going to have to get with it if they're going to catch up when the statutory deadline runs out on the initial rush of applicants.

Their are some 12/18 instructors still out there.

I just happen to think, I put on my app that I moved to this address in September, but didn't change my DL until October. That's still within the 30 days allowed by law to change your ID, but it could still require a 2nd look by a human. Meh, oh well. What's another few weeks?

Molly just posted in another thread that they are turning out about 1000 a day. But the glitch rate has been pretty high. I bet that once the glitches are worked out, we should all have licenses within a couple weeks.
