My license was in my mail today!

just take it easy

Todd, did you get your CCL today? Just wondering. You should be among the first.

No. Just started applying yesterday. some time ago I became a part time LE. So I didn't need to rush in. and have been fighting with ISP about their interpretation on the rules for LEs and such. I've tried to use the experience to help make things better, mostly concealed and such. there are far more other people that needed it and I am very happy that they got to apply, and are now getting their licenses. I'll get mine in a bit and we'll see how the process goes for me. So I can keep tabs on ISP. But thanks for the thought.

Todd -- you sending prints?

yes

What do you say to the folks that paid for prints about the non-printers getting their CCL before them?

I told my students it was a gamble and the odds were anti print.

Loctite/paint pen/regularly check your gear. A gun falling off your belt is unacceptable

Based on the couple people have been approved who applied on January 5th, the shortest approval time we've seen thus far is 54 days. However, that may be trimmed down tomorrow as they spent the first day working on the backlog which was spread throughout December. I'm right at the 40 day mark and am going to set my conservative guess at another two weeks, but I'm very optimistic things will pick up this week as they get into a working rhythm.

And on that note, I say we all make that our profile photo for the entire month of March!

Any objections, PnC?

yes

What do you say to the folks that paid for prints about the non-printers getting their CCL before them?

People sending prints are processed in up to 90 days. People without prints are processed in up to 120 days.

Nothing there says that a person sending prints will necessarily get processed sooner. A non-print person could be processed in 2 days and a print person in 90, and the rules would be adhered to.
