C0untZer0 Posted October 17, 2014 at 02:43 AM Share Posted October 17, 2014 at 02:43 AM Walmart's online business is getting pretty good. Almost anything I can order from Amazon I can order from Walmart and with Walmart I get free shipping to the store. I purchased a pack of 9mm A-Zooms for 13 bucks

C0untZer0 Posted October 18, 2014 at 01:02 AM Share Posted October 18, 2014 at 01:02 AM Jackpot ! I scored 750 rounds of fairly cheap 9mm ammo at the St.Charles Walmart, and picked up my A-Zoom Snap Caps. Man this S&W 929 really pounds the primers. My Glock doesn't even dent the hard rubber in the A-Zooms but this Smith does. I also had 3 virgin Tipton 380 ACP Snap Caps and the 929 has drilled the HECK out of them. Mr. Fife Posted October 18, 2014 at 09:27 PM Share Posted October 18, 2014 at 09:27 PM I'm heading to Michigan in the morning. I have enough gas to get to the first Road Pilot in Indiana where I'll be filling up. I have about 30 gallons worth of gas cans that I'm tempted to bring along so I can fill them up on the way back. C0untZer0 Posted October 19, 2014 at 03:13 AM Share Posted October 19, 2014 at 03:13 AM I've been calculating how much money I'll save with lower gas prices and trying to figure out if I can buy another .22LR for my daughter. The S&W 63 is a great little revolver but I think a light weight semi-auto would be easier for her to shoot.

samwiii Posted October 20, 2014 at 10:50 PM Share Posted October 20, 2014 at 10:50 PM I've found .22LR on my last 4 trips to WalMart over the past two weeks (Algonquin, Huntley, and Elgin). All was CCI standard velocity plinking ammo at $7.49/100. Not the cheapest, but it's good to see that it's getting easier to find. They were all also stocked to the gills on most other ammo, too, at reasonable prices.
