Many people in this state who need CCW the most are unable to meet the restrictive financial obligations set by SB 2193. Let's put our heads together and identify groups in our communities who could benefit from some special planning. I'd be more than willing to contribute for a class and to pay the app fee for a couple of people a year.

I mean for people that CAN'T afford it, not those for whom it would be difficult. I'm thinking inner city folks and what not. If you can afford internet access you don't qualify. ;-)

If we can get the NRA involved, they would be able to capitalize on this. They know how to do this. We can drum up support among our members, and Todd/the NRA can publicize it.

Also, I like the idea of the NRA sponsoring this for positive PR.

I don't know what that potential liability would look like. (then again, I've participated in firearm raffles, so I could be totally wrong). Someone mentioned calling it the "Red Crosshairs". That could work.
