DoktorPaimon Posted May 22, 2013 at 02:41 AM Posted May 22, 2013 at 02:41 AM If we've already filed slips against SB1002 and SFA002, do we just file this time for SFA003 or do we hit all three buttons again? I don't want my previous responses wiped.
spu69 Posted May 22, 2013 at 02:43 AM Posted May 22, 2013 at 02:43 AM I accidentally hit all three, not thinking that I had already done 1 and 2 earlier.
DoktorPaimon Posted May 22, 2013 at 02:44 AM Posted May 22, 2013 at 02:44 AM I accidentally hit all three, not thinking that I had already done 1 and 2 earlier. Looking at the options and at my previous slips I'm thinking all 3 might be the way to go as we're looking at different committee hearings and the system doesn't appear smart enough to carry positions on previously heard amendments through.

Did anyone else have to login after each slip was submitted and do a catcha and agree to the terms for each slip? Me thinks they are trying to make it a bit harder to do multiple witness slips...

I clicked one of the slips in the first post and opened a new tab with the slip. I signed in to my acct, went back to the IC tab and clicked on the slip again and everything was filled in when it popped the new tab. No issues.
Fubar Posted May 22, 2013 at 02:54 AM Posted May 22, 2013 at 02:54 AM Slips done. Yeah having an account makes it a breeze.

Not pointless at all - haven't seen votes on HB183 or SB1002, right? Keep the faith... If we've already filed slips against SB1002 and SFA002, do we just file this time for SFA003 or do we hit all three buttons again? I don't want my previous responses wiped. Just file on what you didn't file before.
Ron Posted May 22, 2013 at 03:05 AM Posted May 22, 2013 at 03:05 AM Slips filed. As usual mauserme, thanks for the effort you put into these ILGA posts, it's really appreciated!
mauserme Posted May 22, 2013 at 03:13 AM Author Posted May 22, 2013 at 03:13 AM There are 12 "No Position" slips on SB1002. Make sure to check OPPONENT when you do these.
RoadyRunner Posted May 22, 2013 at 03:29 AM Posted May 22, 2013 at 03:29 AM Done on both. Confirmed my name is on 'Opposed'.
mauserme Posted May 22, 2013 at 03:29 AM Author Posted May 22, 2013 at 03:29 AM Scheduled start time for the House corrected to 11:30 AM (instead of 11:00 AM)
drumgod Posted May 22, 2013 at 03:38 AM Posted May 22, 2013 at 03:38 AM Not pointless at all - haven't seen votes on HB183 or SB1002, right? Keep the faith... I hear you. I guess I'm just a bit dejected at seeing the exec. committee read every single supporting name to the point of practically adding personal praise for each, only to mostly dismiss the 600+ opposing slips... I will continue to fight though. Just file on what you didn't file before. oops. I too checked "oppose" on every option. Hopefully the system is smart enough to identify my re-submit without penalty... or dumb enough to count it as additional opposition.
spu69 Posted May 22, 2013 at 03:46 AM Posted May 22, 2013 at 03:46 AM When I was looking at the vote tally, I noticed that only Amend 3 for SB1002 was listed in committee. So even though I checked oppose for 1 and 2, It didn't count (for this committee meeting at least). I didn't check to see if it affected yesterday's count, but I would imagine it didn't since there is a notice that only slips filed before the end of the day will count. Phew.
nivad Posted May 22, 2013 at 03:52 AM Posted May 22, 2013 at 03:52 AM Yeah the system is trying to tell me my browser isn't current now... Another attempt to block opposition to this junk. I will find a way in fellows. It is only a temporary obstacle.
C0untZer0 Posted May 22, 2013 at 04:14 AM Posted May 22, 2013 at 04:14 AM Ugh... we have people who are messing up their witness slips (I can't imagine 20 people going to all the trouble to file a witness slip and then checking "No Position" )
