junglebob Posted March 27, 2013 at 07:33 PM Posted March 27, 2013 at 07:33 PM I like to reload, so I put up 800 rounds of 9mm and 300 rounds of 45 this weekend. How long did it take you to reload that much? Did you have the 9mm primers on hand, if not how much did you pay and where did you get them?
LightMyFire Posted March 29, 2013 at 11:12 PM Posted March 29, 2013 at 11:12 PM Quick question if you do a private sale of ammo to someone do you need to do a bill of sale?

F12Mahon Posted March 30, 2013 at 03:22 AM Posted March 30, 2013 at 03:22 AM Was in Sterling Walmart last night and saw one box of Winchester PDX1 124 grain jacketed hollow point sitting on the shelf. It looked so forlorn and lonely I decided to take it home and keep it company. I may even have a chance to give it a purpose in life over the next week. Eugene under editforgot to mention it's 9mm.

RockerXX Posted March 31, 2013 at 02:50 AM Posted March 31, 2013 at 02:50 AM Bring your friends and family with FOIDs Waukegan (Lakehurst) Walmart has a boat load of PPU 9mm for $14.57... Bad news ONE box limit!!!
Joebie Posted March 31, 2013 at 12:58 PM Posted March 31, 2013 at 12:58 PM This whole 1 box limit is so obnoxious.
wendallman Posted March 31, 2013 at 01:52 PM Posted March 31, 2013 at 01:52 PM Went to gander in Joliet last night. Slim pickings. Some 762x54 was about all they had that I shoot. They did have a s&w m&p-15 there though. It was the California legal version though.
C0untZer0 Posted March 31, 2013 at 02:16 PM Posted March 31, 2013 at 02:16 PM It's weird - I have a huge stash of ammo, easily enough to last me a year, but I keep getting these urges to go buy more.
pyre400 Posted March 31, 2013 at 06:10 PM Posted March 31, 2013 at 06:10 PM Farm and Fleet had 12GA shells on sale - 100 for $22. I was just happy to finally see shells in stock again.

The only difference between a CA and regular model is the bullet button, which is easily and cheaply removed and replaced. If it had a pinned stock AND bullet button it was an East Coast model. .

Then it was probably an East Coast model. I didn't handle it, just saw it on the wall and asked if it was a 15-22 or was it the 223/556 and was told it was a California 556. He did mention it had a fixed stock, 10 round mag, no flash suppressor and I just assumed the bullet button.
Fubar Posted April 1, 2013 at 07:48 PM Posted April 1, 2013 at 07:48 PM Natchez has Winchester USA - .40S&W 165gr FMJ 100/Box $40.00 limit 5 http://www.natchezss.com/product.cfm?contentID=productDetail&prodID=WNUSA40SWVP&src=tpSlrHm "What country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance. Funny in my area 12G (410 and 20g) shot shells are overstocked and falling off the shelf at every Walmart I visit, I have yet to see a shortage of shot shells.
skinnyb82 Posted April 1, 2013 at 10:00 PM Posted April 1, 2013 at 10:00 PM Same here. The only ammo I can find are shotgun shells. I mean like EVERY variety too. And slugs. Methinks it may have something to do with the fact that there's a lot of hunters down here I dunno. Sent from my SCH-R530U using Tapatalk 2

skinnyb82 Posted April 1, 2013 at 11:12 PM Posted April 1, 2013 at 11:12 PM "Get a shotgun...get a shotgun...." I have a Mossberg 500 with an 18.5" barrel (and a heat shield...oooohhh a barrel shroud!) for home defense. I've never shot it and I've owned it for about two years. I can't exactly carry that one around (although I may be able to in June). Sent from my SCH-R530U using Tapatalk 2

Shipping is a bit up there though http://www.midwayusa...500-10-boxes-50 Wayyy too expensive and not really good in the Ruger 10/22. Oh well, it at least shows that something is out there.
cls74 Posted April 2, 2013 at 03:49 AM Posted April 2, 2013 at 03:49 AM Yeah, first I'd seen available in some time. I've got enough for the old bolt action I have. I know a lot of people are looking for it, it beats the $150 price tag CTD has on theirs, it even beats their powderless prices.

flw Posted April 2, 2013 at 12:01 PM Posted April 2, 2013 at 12:01 PM I'll be checking the Rockford Farm and Fleet along with one of their Walmart's today. I'll be in the area today anyway, which is how I check for any. I would never drive there just to look. Too far. I do know of a small gun store that does have ammo but he's charging double on everything. I'm not low, but just trying to buy what I shoot.

I've never had an issue with it in my 10/22, then again I think I only ran about 2 small boxes through it. YMMV of course
