GarandFan Posted October 12, 2010 at 06:08 PM Share Posted October 12, 2010 at 06:08 PM During 2010, for the very first time, Joyce Foundation gave a $400,000 grant to Media Matters for America, "to support a gun and public safety issue initiative." I think they are just now beginning to see "bang" for their buck. I don't know if the Joyce Foundation was ever so directly tied to "culture war" politics. They have, in the past, at least tried to appear objective. They paid MM to make the connection between Beck and plots of violence, and then they paid Horwitz to make the connection between Beck, plots of violence, and the NRA. Wow. Elberding and the Joyce folks are really in the gutter, now. Xwing Posted October 13, 2010 at 07:39 PM Share Posted October 13, 2010 at 07:39 PM Some call that professional courtesy. Others call it a circle-jerk. True. That's what anyone who knows these groups would call it. But unfortunately, the masses often don't have the knowledge to understand that, and consider crap like that credible.
