Well looks I need to go put some hands on grips to see if I like the feel. Thanks all.
Let me know if you want to come by, I'd be happy to show it to you.

I got a Mete MC9 for my weekday carry, I love it. Capacity for the size is great and it shoots very well.

Apparently the State of Illinois has informed the SCOTUS that it will not be filing briefs. Isn't that contempt of court?

I do have a few vacation days to use up 👹

Just hours before cash bail was set to be eliminated across parts of Illinois, the state's Supreme Court stopped it from taking effect.

I've had Ring Spotlight Cams for a few years and don't have any complaints.
Super easy to install and set-up.

This is a surprising bill. It isn't something we'll likely get involved in but it's interesting none the less.
HB2757 Bank Grocery Gas Armed Guard
Synopsis As Introduced
Creates the Armed Security Protection Act. Provides that for a period of 3 years beginning July 1, 2022, banks, pawn shops, grocery stores, and gas stations in municipalities having a population in excess of 2,000,000 inhabitants must employ and have on the premises at least one guard during the hours they conduct business with the public.
I wonder how many family members Rep. Jones has in the security guard business??

Ive never done a face to face transfer, can one run a FOID ck on oneself to see if your card is good?
Sure, just go to ISP website and plug your info. into the transfer page. I do a few times a year, just because.

damn, same day as my colonscopy hope the the state doesn't preform a second one for me that day
At least your doctor will use some lube.

There must be some sort of exception?
My friend's came from Utah via USPS signature required. One would think that a rather big on-line retailer would be familiar with and stay within the laws, as their livelihood could be on the line.

Anticipation is half the fun.
Kinda like having your CCL go Active, and then stalking the mailman for the next week.
-
I think we'd be better off if Kansas invaded Illinois.

What do you say to the folks that paid for prints about the non-printers getting their CCL before them?
Welcome to Illinois!

Welcome to the forum, nice to see I have some company in my "little corner of heck".

Maybe she just wants to wait for the "Ford Report" to come out, so she can see what it has to say.

What if the person had an expired FOID, because the ISP can't keep up their end of THE LAW????

Not old. Brand new, just announced at the SHOT show.
Got lucky and snagged it earlier this week.
The finish is on par with my older ones from the 60's and 70's. I really believe that CZ buying Colt was the best thing that could have happened.
