  1. Maybe this is in the wrong place. Moderator, move if needed. https://www.wired.com/story/darin-lahood-fbi-backdoor-search/
  2. As grandma always said, "will wonders never cease."
  3. Yes, how appropriate. Thanks for pointing that out. I would never have noticed on my own.
  4. Thank you for this notice. I can't make it, but I sure hope there is a good turnout from our side. Good luck.
  5. I was in one of my LGS's this past Saturday, and a customer was inquiring about purchasing hi-cap mags. Both the customer and the LGS were plaintiffs in one of DeVores cases. The LGS declined to sell, and explained that upon advice of their attorney, they should just wait awhile and see how this works out. I'm not going to second guess them, but wonder why they spent the money to get a tro if they weren't going to use it.
  6. Some interesting reading in this article. I hope it hasn't been previously posted. https://www.thecentersquare.com/illinois/federal-judge-in-illinois-gun-ban-cases-orders-state-to-show-each-and-every-item/article_936ac308-abeb-11ed-83a0-e3b567a83f36.html “Because the ban is so all encompassing and uses a great many vague terms that I’m not even sure that exactly what is banned and that’s probably why judge McGlynn ordered the state to do that so that we could find out what exactly we are arguing about,”
  7. Supporting your local LGS is logically the right place to make your purchases.
  8. Thank you, MrTriple, thats just the sort of informed opinion I was hoping for.
  9. DeVore case three registration is closed. I suppose some one here will keep us informed when case four registration opens up. I'll probably get on board that one. But still, I can't help but be curious how long this is going to take for the rest of the citizens of this state to get relief from this nonsense.
  10. If we don't get a full injunction, how will this take to work its way through the courts? My guess is 3 to 5 years, and I am basing that guess on the law suit over the FOID law. I am interested in the opinions of you who follow this sort of issue in other states as well.
  11. With all due respect, can we keep this discussion on track, which is assault weapons ban litigation. There are other forums to talk about recent firearms coming on the market. Thank you.
  12. I'm gonna bet that if we don't get an injunction this is going to be in the courts for at least three years before we see the end of it. And I'm not confidant the the final outcome is going to be in our favor. A lot of good people can be harmed it that amount of time. Who wants to take my bet?
  13. I respect your opinion on the topic and find your comment encouraging. We need some encouragement in these times.
  14. Hmmmm... I never considered that. Who'd a thunk?
  15. Unless I misunderstood your post, that's just another sheriff who is trying to walk the fence just like Tazwell Co. Sheriff. No where did he say he would not enforce an unconstitutional law.
  16. Thank you for that question. I am wondering the same thing myself, and while we are asking questions. What are the chances of getting an injunction to stop this until the courts have their say on the matter?
  17. What are our chances of getting an injunction to stop the implementation of this mess?
  18. I agree, but they will be back just like New York state has come back with even worse legislation.
  19. Lie to me and tell me everything is going to be alright. Go ahead, lie to me.
  20. I have sent you a personal message with the info. you requested.
  21. It's been quite some time since I have done a 3 hour renewal, and I cannot find the 3 hour form on the ISP web site. Can someone direct me to the correct place on their website? Thanks in advance
