Where is the ISP press release stating these Items are contraband? Going into LGS still selling banned items as legal is quite confusing.
-
Cabelas in Illinois will not buy listed items. They are illegal now and thy wont take them. Was told any store in a contiguous state will accept them.
-
Could one still sell to Cabelas? they are a multi state retailer.
-
What options are available to anyone who wants to sell a listed item now? Can’t sell person to person, in state dealers won’t want them. What would heirs be able to do with items they have no use for or interest in?
-
How would one sell a listed firearm in this situation we find ourselves in. Not many option.

A LGS near me is still selling everything that is not nailed down. Still under cover of “its not their responsibility to know what laws a buyer is governed by” posted sign. The place was packed with a good # looking at “assault weapons”. I know FFLs gotta eat and maybe they are covered by a different TRO. I keep hearing, it’s looking good, we’re moving in the right direction and other encouraging thoughts but my concern is alot of folks are gonna burn if it goes bad for us. An awful lot of good folks here are getting and giving bad legal advice about buying guns and accessories in the middle of a legal firestorm.

what should we do next?
lilguy replied to Tvandermyde's topic in Judicial Second Amendment Case Discussion
What ever we do the window opening for us is finite. Durbin and his cabal in the US senate are pushing through anti gun federal judges at a record pace. With his attacks on the Supreme Court and specifically Justice Thomas his sole purpose in life now is gaining total control of the courts. Very dangerous time for conservative values. -

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2023/05/02/scotus-justice-barrett-gives-illinois-city-until-monday-to-respond-to-challenge-to-assault-weapons-ban/ Does this mean the supremes are taking the case away from the appeals court? -
Actually, in reality, not true.

As a matter of fact yes.

Davis v Yenchko (FOID revocations)

The FOID system stands. Just can’t be abused or weaponized. -
A number of companies other than Keltec make rifle caliber handguns. They are not tied to a stock in any fashion. Is the Keltec considered a sbr now as shown? HK, CZ many more available.

https://www.keltecweapons.com/firearm/pistols/plr16/ Is this covered by the rule? I was always worried about braced pistols. They look like SBRs.
