Lets talk about Parks in small cities for a moment. Our Chief of Police published a long article in the local paper yesterday. Mostly calm stuff, but at one point he stated that CCW holders would be arrested if they had a firearm in a vehicle in the city park. I thought that we have Safe Haven in our vehicles, such that when we drove into a parking lot of an otherwise prohibited place, that we could secure our pistol and be fine with regard to the law. Am I all wet or did he mis-speak?
Your vehicle is a safe haven in EVERY prohibitted area EXCEPT Nuclear facilities and places where firearms are banned per federal law.

I always love reading these things.
It's a right and we won't deny it to you if you have a true need for it. It's not our fault that only 0.02% have a real need for it.

No problem. Eventually you'll re-read Section 65 enough times to maybe understand 42% of it.

I've carried daily for 2+ weeks now, and the ONLY place I have had to disarm is my place of work.
I am not saying it works that way for everyone, and if you read past posts you will see how adamantly I am against prohibitted locations, short of private property, but I am able to defend my family.

yes and that the 7ths decision is now the precedent in illinois courts.So is that 2 rulings that IL UUW is unconstitutional?
