  1. Basically she passed the buck without making the FOID ACT unconstitutional therefore covering her A$$. SMH
  2. I agree, she would get hardly anything at a shop. I wouldn't mind knowing what she had.Same here. I would hate to see her not make what she should, that's why I suggested starting here.
  3. Per 430 ILCS 65, she can maintain possession of her husband's firearms without a FOID due to his death. She can do this for 60 days if I remember correctly. I would have her apply for a FOID. If it was my neighbor, I would help her sell the firearms. This website would be a good start. In my opinion if she goes to a gun store she will probably get pennies on the dollar for the firearms. I don't know for sure, but I think the gun store might take issue with her not having a FOID. KING
  4. I would put your middle names in as it is on your driver's license. If it's incorrect it won't let you proceed until it's correct.
  5. No, you can not renew a couple years early. You have to go to the ISP website and log in to renew. Your renew buttons only become active 90 days prior to your FOID expiration date and 120 days before your FCCL expires.
  6. If you renewed prior to it's expiration the FOID card is still active. Although using it for purchases might be an issue due to them not knowing you applied for the renewal. It's been my experience that most stores don't know or understand the law when it comes to firearms or ammo sales. I would suggest using your FCCL for making purchases as allowed by law until your FOID is mailed to you. Again, some businesses may not accept the FCCL, well just because.
  7. Man, we have such an efficiently run government that it amazes me on a daily basis.
  8. Ok, here are the documents where it shows that Sigale is overdue on filing his brief. It's on the bottom of the page. At the top of the next page it shows where he is requesting an "instantaner". Which I understand is his request to still be able to file a brief. That is dated 6/3/19. The brief was due 5/31/19.
  9. It's nice to see these organizations filing briefs in support of Ms. Brown. It's a shame that her own attorney David Sigale missed the deadline and didn't file a brief on her behalf. How does that happen. SMH.
  10. No, Wilson is another case in regards to the second amendment. It's no just another circumstance. My point is that every case that involves the Second amendment should be heard with due diligence and in a timely manner. Not just the cases they decide to hear.
  11. There is the problem. 2nd amendment cases should be heard and decided upon immediately. How long did McDonald v Chicago take? Moore v Madigan? I'm not quite sure, but look at some of the other cases. Wilson v Cook County. That has been going on for almost a decade.
  12. There is the problem. 2nd amendment cases should be heard and decided upon immediately.
  13. I would like to see the whole application process get challenged not just the CCLRB. There's so many over burdensome requirements and challenges to just apply for a license which makes it so difficult. Let alone just trying to make contact with the ISP.
