  1. Sounds like our state is still making things worse. I am looking to purchase a semiauto shotgun but am confused on what to do.
  2. Definitely a slick way for good ole Illinois to double dip in the fee. Once I reapply , I have to wait until the part where I try and pick up my firearm to see if anything changed. My last fiasco I was granted the FOID, purchased that beautiful Talo edition Glock, and then bam revoked. still shell shocked from it, but very promising seeing other’s success. Molly you have been a tremendous help along the way for me 🙌🏿
  3. This is great news. I wonder how they determine what FOID cards to change from Revoked to Active. I have to reapply. I did ask if they can just reinstate the one that they originally approved.
  4. Quick update. Received message from Review Board asking if I a reapplied. I responded that there was no option to reapply. I only turned in my FOID to local Sheriffs office per instruction. Sent my appeal and have been patiently waiting for years. Received another email saying the following.
  5. Paperwork turned in Thursday. Wake up to a message on the portal. Your submission could not be approved because of a statutory prohibitor in your background. Please review your revocation letter for more information. Most recent FOID and CCL correspondence can be found by clicking the, "Correspondence" tab in your dashboard. For more information about the appeal process please visit the Firearms Services Bureau, "Types of Appeals" website at isp.illinois.gov/TypesOfAppeals. For a list of available forms and appeal checklists, go to isp.illinois.gov/foid/forms. Also, contact the FOID Record Challenge Unit here: isp.frcu@illinois.gov.
  6. Update- I received an email with a Request for FOID Relief and Reinstatement of Firearms Rights paperwork included for me to fill out and send back. My fingers are crossed that something will actually change.
  7. What a great ending for you. It’s been almost 7 years and now my appeal is being transferred to the FCRB. The best part is they will contact me to see if I am still interested in the appeal. Smh, such a silly thing to ask, it’s only been forever. The Glock Talo19 I purchased and never took possession of was sold. I need to find a new state to live in, Illinois does not do right.
  8. I am so happy to see members here having success. I still have not heard anything. Even tried contacting Pritzker and company. I wonder if I can play the race card on this one? Just kidding everyone fingers are crossed getting impatient
  9. You might try this email address: ISP.CCW.Illinois@illinois.gov Thanks, Molly - sent an email that day (over 2 weeks ago) with some relevant details, so they could match to the faxed form. Silence. No idea (except the fax receipt) that it's been received/filed/ignored Any thoughts? Don't necessarily need to know it'll be done tomorrow , but I would like to know it's somewhere in process. Thanks again - if there's anything else to try, please lmk! Seems like they respond that my speak is being reviewed. The first time I received this email I was thinking ok I am getting somewhere. Once I checked the site and it still says FOID is revoked. I initially thought they denied my appeal and I was only waiting on a denied letter. Fast forward a couple of years and I received same email after I left message and made a few request for help from the governor. This board is great. Molly has been so helpful. I hope everyone has a nice safe holiday.
  10. Looks like ISP is waking up. I received another email stating my appeals documents have been received and I am inline for review. Granted I send in over 2 years ago. I hope this time is legit and not just another email to get me to go away. Hope everyone is well here
  11. Illinois is just a joke. Been waiting on FOID appeal since 2017 no response from ISP. Just sent JB Pritzker a message on the website. What gives? And they kept my $11
  12. I wouldn't be as upset if they would have never gave me the FOID in the first place. They obviously did a background check when I applied and granted me the card. As soon as I tried to purchase a handgun it got revoked...
  13. My appeal is still being "reviewed" they have only had it since March 6,2017........
