Kim Foxx will not run for re-election
markthesignguy replied to davel501's topic in Illinois Politics
Who needs vote fraud when you have Gerrymandering? With the gerrymandering the Demoncrats control, the opposition doesn't even bother to run in a LOT of jurisdictions. The key to unlocking Illinois is to stomp out gerrymandering. -

Well, I goofed up. Not having received the FOID in the mail by 2-20-2022 (with a printing date of 2-1-2022) I reported it LOST, and paid $5 for a replacement. Today the FOID showed up, 2-24-2022. The FIRST FOID, which shows a mailed meter date of 2-18-2022.... oh well... btw, it has the "Indicator" notation in the upper right corner. Printed 2-1-2022, mailed 2-18-2022. well, we'll see what the replacement looks like, numbers etc.... edit - Replacement has postal meter date of March 9, 2022.

If your card was recently issued, it is on its way to you. Please allow time for printing and mailing. Please contact our office if you have not received the card within 45 days of the issue date.

Brandon Kelly of the ISP press conference today
markthesignguy replied to steveTA84's topic in Illinois Politics
They'd never go for that, makes too much sense. -
What I see is a bunch of under educated "democrat" politicians who have a completely erroneous concept of who they are and the limits of both their power and it's ability to make changes under this governmental system. I quite cynically believe that the majority of the electorate is getting EXACTLY the government they DESERVE. INCLUDING the money woes (including the hits to their home's value) of the State of Illinois. And NOW they are spreading their infection far and wide across the U.S.A.

FOID and CCL data by county - current data and historical trends
markthesignguy replied to Hap's topic in Illinois Politics
We need to FOIA the data with another breakdown as well - by HOUSE DISTRICT. We don't need to ask for the Senate numbers - just add the two House districts to generate the Senate numbers. I was (and still AM) trying to extract rough numbers for each legislative district from the county data. edit - that might not be possible, but they surely can break it down by ZIP CODE. At LEAST the 5 digit zip code. The dash four part of the zip code might be too deep, i.e. individual routes. -
not just felons, but also domestic abuse and etc... prohibited persons...

RacerDave6 60 to 70 count ain't bad on short notice. We can do better, but the last town hall in the evening, with more assured parking without crossing "questionable areas", with lots more notice only netted twice that. Saturday morning, short notice against Family activities. qwityergripin... Too short of notice for me to get signs up, in retrospect I should have pushed harder, earlier, and did a bit of "karnaking"... The IGOLD signs weren't appropriate. At least most of them. A completely different objective, message and mission. Then there's my car problems, coolant leak fixed, but car overheated and caused oil leak problems. Those fixes are in the works as well as a brake caliper that drags occasionally. With all that taking time and $$, I just couldn't get there. It killed me to miss it and continues to do so.
