Country Club Hills elected officials do not intend for you to know what they are proposing until the night of the meeting! When asked if the proposed ordinance would ban certain firearms the answer was YES. When asked when the wording would be available to the public, the City Clerk replied Monday night when copies are put out on the table!!

If you live/work in or near Country Club Hills, contact your alderman and urge them to vote NO on the proposed ordinance. Please help by posting flyers around town, sharing the link to this post and our facebook link Thank you!

I will be out of town that week. Country Club Hills is (looking for PC words) , known for their news worthy actions. They have a red light camera on just about EVERY stop light in the city. I almost wish I could go just to meet Mauser. Doesn't the open meeting act say anything about posting the act before?

I do hope some CC Hills residents are able to be there. Speaking against the ordinance with no locals in attendance might be a little difficult.

+1 we really some residents there. I end up driving thru that town on the way TO and FROM work everyday. The intersection of I-57 and I-80 falls in there jerstriction.

I'm going to try to make it...I live about 20 minutes or so from CC Hills. I work up in the NW subs, so provided I don't get held up too bad in traffic, I should be able to leave work in time to make it.

I forgot that it was today. I had surgery on my back today (microdiscetomy for a herniated L3/L4 disc). I will still go. Just need to find a ride. Molly or anybody for that matter, do we know anyone that lives in C.C.H.? We need to get them out there with us.
