NRA Basic Rifle & American Marksmanship-Waterman-July 13-14

The United States Riflemans Asscn is offering NRA Basic Rifle on July 13 in Waterman IL

The Saturday course is at least 8-hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot rifles of various designs. Students learn:

• NRA’s rules for safe gun handling
  
• Rifle parts and operation
  
• Ammunition
  
• Shooting fundamentals
  
• Range rules
  
• Shooting from the bench rest position
  
• Cleaning the rifle
  
• Continued opportunities for skill development.
  

Students will receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Rifle Shooting Student Examination, and course completion certificate.

 

On July 14 USRA will be hosting their American Marksmanship clinic.

You will learn or be refreshed in the basics of rifle marksmanship. This will include proper sling use, 4 position shooting, zeroing your rifle, proper firing technique and more.
