cm.stites Posted May 30, 2013 at 05:49 AM Posted May 30, 2013 at 05:49 AM D&R firearms in urbana has finally dealt with all the city issues and is in the process of opening up their new range and shop heres the latest update from them. We apologize for the late update but things have been a bit crazy here. On May 23rd, the full Champaign County board voted in our favor (regarding our zoning change request) and hence we are moving forward full speed with our project. The range is being constructed as we write this update! Our new location will be 1414 Triumph Drive in Urbana (in the county), just North of I-74, off of North Cunningham. Because D&R plans to merge with The Morrigan company and Marcus Harris, our name will likely change soon. However, you will still be dealing with Dean and Roger (and hopefully Tim ) and you will be receiving the same level of outstanding personal service as always. We hope to have the retail end of things moved within the next 1 to 2 months. Classrooms are already prepared and ready to go for concealed carry training. The minute we know what the state will require, conceal carry classes will begin! Meanwhile, the 11 lane, 25 yard indoor range will be under construction. The merger is not yet complete, regardless, the range will be opening as stated above! The new name will be High Caliber or High Caliber Training and Tactics or something to that affect.
