Remember, there is very little way to ascertain "tone" in the written word, especially if the writer doesn't us proper punctuation and even then sarcasm and wittiness are difficult to convey (especially if the joke goes over someone's head). On a forum like this things said can be taken out of context, misunderstood, etc quite easily. I hope you work it out and there are no hard feelings in the future.
