Read the Bill

Being relatively new around here I am sure this comment will be dissmissed but that would only go to my point.

 

Yes, I am new at commenting and posting but I have ben reading this forum for some time. Just never thought there was anything that I wanted to say. It happens!!!

 

Secretary Kerry recently said the following, "As a country, as a society, we live and breathe the idea of religious freedom and religious tolerance, whatever the religion, and political freedom and political tolerance, whatever the point of view. People have sometimes wondered about why our Supreme Court allows one group or another to march in a parade even though it's the most provocative thing in the world and they carry signs that are an insult to one group or another. The reason is, that's freedom, freedom of speech. In America you have a right to be stupid - if you want to be." Not really original, its been said before.

 

Anyway, it is quite obvious that people either are not reading these bills, taking the word of others or it could be that maybe they are reading but not understanding. yeap these things are not always written to be user friendly.

 

But this morning after reading many of the articles that have already been written about the new bill I don't feel as bad as I did last night about the lack of understanding, because it is quite obvious that the journalists writting these articles did not read the bill either.

 

So inform yourself and read the bill and don't be embarrassed to ask about it. Not understanding the law puts you in the company of many great Americans.
