The gun legislation proposed in the recent months has been so terribly written its laughable. Its obvious to me that our northern Illinois friends in the house and senate are just trying to keep us busy. They have decided that as long as we are busy fighting there ridiculous proposals that we will be pressed to garner support for meaningful legislation. Maybe i am giving them to much credit?

Agreed!!! I stated that weeks ago, if you are always on defense when can you go on offense.  Try to win in any sport only playing on defense and surrender any offensive strategy and prevail.

What should be obvious is tha states under Democratic (liberal/progressive) control have much more restrictive firearms laws and are in worse fiscal shape than "Red" States run moreso on "Conservative" policy's.

All their paychecks and expense accounts should be froze effective immediately until they get a budget in place, and no retroactive compensation should be paid to them for this 'get your act together and do your job time period' even when they do get it done...

I'm sure after a few days/weeks they might get a clue...
