McCarthy obviously can't do anything, not entirely his fault when Rahm would rather drop $100M on a new arena for the DePaul basketball team that isn't even a public school and, well, sucks, instead of allocating that money to the CPD.

The remaining $33 million for the arena -- which will host trade shows and concerts in addition to DePaul basketball -- will be paid using tax-increment financing (TIF) district funds.
