mauserme Posted May 16, 2013 at 04:27 PM Posted May 16, 2013 at 04:27 PM Senator Raoul has filed his draconian gun control amendment to HB183. Please file witness slips in opposition to Senate Amendment 1 to HB183 here
SAXD9 Posted May 16, 2013 at 04:28 PM Posted May 16, 2013 at 04:28 PM By the way, it is may issue...It still has the "proper cause" requirement in Section 1-25.

mauserme Posted May 16, 2013 at 04:42 PM Author Posted May 16, 2013 at 04:42 PM Let's get slips filed first, but also call/fax/email your Senators to voice opposition to this. Link to Contacts List
ike Posted May 16, 2013 at 04:51 PM Posted May 16, 2013 at 04:51 PM Well if they listen to the witness slips, which they won't . the overwhelming majority are opposed to it
bersa380 Posted May 16, 2013 at 04:56 PM Posted May 16, 2013 at 04:56 PM 206 opponents to 15 proponents. Keep going! Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk 2
Jfl0 Posted May 16, 2013 at 04:57 PM Posted May 16, 2013 at 04:57 PM filed. Senator contacted. I vehemently oppose this legislation.
mauserme Posted May 16, 2013 at 04:59 PM Author Posted May 16, 2013 at 04:59 PM We don't want to duplicate witness slips that were already filed. It can hurt our credibility. One per customer is the best course.
Prairie Pucker Posted May 16, 2013 at 05:00 PM Posted May 16, 2013 at 05:00 PM Filed. And an email sent to Senator Bivins yesterday evening.

blueliner Posted May 16, 2013 at 05:04 PM Posted May 16, 2013 at 05:04 PM I looked and saw that of the witness slips filed, proponents were 15 and opponents were over 200 for the Raoul Amendment. My question is this, as I looked at the proponent list, the ISP filed a witness slip as a proponent of this bad bill, I thought the ISP was for a shall issue concealed carry? If so, why would they file as a proponent of the Raoul Amendment may/no issue bill?
d38runner Posted May 16, 2013 at 05:07 PM Posted May 16, 2013 at 05:07 PM Filed for me and significant other. Thanks for the Facebook heads up, which alerted me to this.
