There are a few  I need to ignore to keep the blood pressure down.  I like this site because all the good likeminded people, If I wanted to listen to people with mental & social problems I would go join another forum.

Click on your name in the upper right hand corner and select manage ignore list.

It seems to me that that continuing to tolerate the trolls on this forum are contradictory to IC's Mission Statement,  Introduction and Context, and number 12 of Site Rules and Code of Conduct.

I think this goes beyond the ignore list. On the rare occasion that they talk about gun control instead of instigating arguments and getting threads locked, their comments seem to be more in favor limiting rights than expanding them. I don't believe for one second they are pro gun. I believe they are anti gunners whose mission is to misinform and disrupt the harmony here.

I am putting some serious consideration into whether I want to remain associated with people like this. Maybe I'm in the wrong community.

Seriously, the legalization of dueling would end political pandering and solve political corruption in the State

Don't let a few people ruin this site for you. If it were up to me I would ban them but for now the ignore feature works great.

Thanks guys.

I tried to word my post carefully because I didn't want to sound like I was doing the "take my ball and go home" thing but reading the liberal stylings from Internet trolls is not why I'm here. It was amusing for awhile when things were slower but it's time to ramp things up and get into full gear right now and my tolerance for antigun rantings is gone.

I know this forum is filled with good hard working pro gun patriots and I would like to stay remain a part of that community but we must not forget that the statements and actions of a few will reflect on us all.

Did you hear something?

Arms are the only true badge of liberty. The possession of arms is the distinction of a free man from a slave. - Andrew Fletcher 1698

It is hard to ignore idiocy, but just do it.  And block them.  It feels great!

I would encourage other members to not directly quote the trolls' text. It bypasses the ignore feature for some reason.

I've had to ban people on my facebook page lately too. Seems like WE aren't the only ones ramping things up. This is what I posted,

Here at the ChicagoGunSmith.com facebook page, we support debate of gun control with logic and facts, because we believe with logic and facts any -reasonable- person will conclude that gun control is counter productive to safety and reduced crime.

However those who choose to spread lies are not welcome. Be prepared to back up your statements. Trolls will be banned!

If you put someone on this list, are they able to read your posts?

Yes but you won't see their posts although you will see their post in a quote if someone who is not on your ignore list quotes them.

Does anyone know if there is a way for your ignore list to work with tapatalk for iOS?
